Lovely Tasting Cava Morning In The Countryside

Hello! Today I'm decided to talk to you about a wonderful place I went last week to celebrate the last day of the year! (I adore celebrating things, I'm a big celebrating fan). So, I was invited to one of the most important  companies producers of cava of Catalonia ( where I live), and may be of Spain. For those who don't know, cava is the same as champagne, but the last one is French, and the first one is Spanish. So basically, they export cava in lots of places around the world. They had expanded their market along Europe (UK, Germany, Belgium, Greece, Austria, Sweeden...) and to America and Japan. But of course, I've forgotten to mention their name (fish memory mine, ha ha!) They are called Pere Ventura.
May be you don't know them, as I suppose ( I hope not wrongly) that there aren't lots of you who are cava experts, but I swear to you that if you ask one, he will know the company by heart.

Anyway, I went there and took some pictures for this blog, and also done a magnifiscent tasting after the guide ( who was Pere Ventura's wife) explained us on a tour how they make cava, which is a process so interesting, and I get fascinated. (Sorry but I have never thought I would be very interested in that). But it was actually really cool.

I would compare the cava process, that I'm not going to explain here because it's complicated and I surely will go wrong at some point, ( I didn't take any notes, no), with the  process of writing a book. (Yeah, writers hazards) Because it took lots and lots of patience, take care of every single and little pat of the process, have a primarial good quality product and the final taste.
The same as writing a book.

Moving on and focusing the issue, as a not lover of wine, I liked so much all the cavas they let us taste, with delicious cheese, lunchmeat, some bred and chocolats. ( of course, in order to not to get too much drunk!)
All the staff there were so lovely and polite, and there was a little kid ( the son of the owners) who was so cute!
I also loved that it is located on the countryside, and with the help of the decoration it seemed to me as if I were in a Victorian house. I felt so comfortable and all the atmosphere made me feel so good and just inside a locus amoenus Paradise!

                                                                 ***

¡Hola!

I think this were the two cavas I liked the most!

Me, or my shade, I don't know, just in the dark side! Ha ha!

This is the lovely & cosy salon where we waited for the tour to start.

So as I wasn't allowed to take photos there, I stole this from The Helper Numer One, aka Gogle Images.
But here it is were the magic happens!

So to sum up, I had a wonderful, interesting and so bubbly last day of the year, and I surely invite and recommend you to visit this amazing and pintoresque place if you have the chance!

I let their webside here! http://www.pereventura.com/ca

Do you like cava/ champagne? Or do you prefer wine? And have you ever been on a tasting?
