El problema de la música en España ( the problem of music in Spain)

“Sin música la vida sería un error”, dijo Nietzsche dando como siempre en el clavo. Un error gravísimo, añado yo. Y no podemos negar que tiene más razón que un santo, ¿verdad? ¿A quién no le gusta la música? Te puede gustar más o menos leer, o la pintura, o el teatro, pero, ¿la música? Vamos, si algún día conozco a alguien a quien no le guste la música me tiño el pelo de morado. (Aunque tal como está la moda capilar hoy en día, tampoco sería tan loco y descabellado - nunca mejor dicho-).
Pero la cuestión es: ¿ Porqué en este país no la respetamos y no le damos el valor que se merece? En España usamos la música como personaje secundario, no como protagonista. Y sinceramente, me molesta muchísimo que no le demos el valor que se merece. Voy a explicar esto que estoy diciendo y que tal vez suene extraño y confuso con ejemplos.
Seguro que todo el mundo conoce a Cold Play, un grupo supercalifragilisticopialidosamente magnifico. Bien, pues imaginemos esta situación:

(En la parada del autobús un chico escucha música con sus auriculares. Llega un amigo.)
- Hola, tío, ¿qué estás escuchando?
-Cold Play, tronco.
-¡Ah, son la caña esos tíos! ¿Vas a ir al concierto? 

-¡Claro!

Ahora imaginemos la misma escena, pero cambiando simplemente el grupo de música.

-Hola, tío, ¿qué estás escuchando?
-One Direction, tronco.
-¿Que dices? Ja, ja, ja. ¿esos gays? ¿No me digas que vas a ir al concierto a gritar con pancartitas" I love you Liam Pulalurdo!" ¡Ja, ja, ja!
-No, tío, ¿qué dices, es que...es que m hermana me ha puesto estas canciones en el móvil...

Y ahora, adivinad la diferencia.
Me gustaría entender porqué algunos grupos i/o estilos de música se merecen más respeto que otros. De verdad que no lo entiendo, pero así es como parece que funciona aquí.
Si nos gusta un grupo que es " aceptado", somos la caña, si no, somos ( en el caso de los chicos, gays; en el caso de las chicas, niñatas chillonas con las hormonas descontroladas).
Y sí, puede que algunos fandoms adolescentes se comporten mayoritariamente así, pero que pasa en los partidos de futbol? Acaso el publico no chilla y se vuelve loco también? Pues ahora sí que no veo la diferencia.
Podría hablar de este tema durante horas y horas, pero creo que el mensaje principal es que hay que pedir respeto por cualquier tipo de música, y que tanto si nos gusta Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber o Bon Jovi, tenemos derecho a decirlo en alto sin que nadie nos menosprecie por eso.
Tal vez estoy hablando en un estadio utópico, tal vez, pero es importante que alguien lo reivindique, y aquí estoy yo.
Por último, hay otro importante problema en este país, es que al no respetar la música como se debería, nos quedamos siempre con lo mas comercial, y no nos atrevemos a difundir aquello que no sabemos si será bien recibido. Pero como dice el dicho, para ganar hay que arriesgar.

Y como no podía ser de otra forma, para finalizar presento una canción preciosa, y que por desgracia, no está valorada como se merece.

 

¿Por qué no cuidar y valorar aquello que tanto nos ha ayudado y tanto nos hace sentir?

But the question is: Why in this country we don’t respect and nor give the value music deserves? In Spain we use music as a supporting character, not as a main character. And frankly, it bothers me a lot to not give music the value it deserves. Let me explain what I'm saying with a clear example, because it may sound strange and confusing.

I’m sure everyone knows Cold Play, a wonderful band. Well, then imagine this situation:

 

(At the bus stop a guy listening to music with headphones. Comes a friend. )

- Hey, pal, what are you listening to?

Cold Play - bro.

-Ah, those guys rock! Are you going to go to the gig?

 -Yeah.

 

Now imagine the same scene, but simply changing the music band.

 

- Hey, pal, what are you listening to?

One Direction - bro.

- Are you kidding me? Ha, ha, ha. These gays? Don’t tell me you're going to the concert screaming “I love you Liam Pulalurdo! “? Ha ha ha!

- No man, what happens is that ... is that my sister put ​​me these songs on my mobile...

 

And now, guess the difference.

I would understand why some styles of music or bands deserve more respect than others. I really do not understand it, but that's how it seems to work here.

If we like a group that is "accepted”, we’re cool, otherwise, we are (in the case of boys , gays , in the case of girls , screaming brats with raging hormones ) .

And yes, maybe some teenager fandoms behave in this way; but what happens in football matches? Does the public not scream and get crazy too? So, now I don’t see the difference.

I could talk about this for hours, but I think the main message is that we should demand respect for any kind of music, and whether we like Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber or Bon Jovi, we should be able to say it loudly.

Maybe I 'm being in a utopian stage, perhaps, but I really think that it is necessary to say it.

In addition, there is another important problem in this country, which is that by not valuing music, we just know and make publicity of the most commercial singers, without taking in much account other amazing bands because we don’t know if will be accepted or not for the society. But how is said, to win you have to risk.
